Viva Espania

The golden sands and blue waters of Spain have drawn visitors for 100’s of years. Spain boasts over 500 blue flag beaches and the coastal resorts of the Mediterranean bask in over 300 days sunshine per year. No wonder it is one of our favourite holiday destinations!

Northern Costas

Just over the border from France you will find the coastal area known as the “Rugged Coast” with its small bays home of fishing villages which are nested among the rocky cliffs.

This area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. The Costa Dorada or “Golden Coast” has 215 km of beautiful sandy beaches no wonder there are over 20 popular tourist towns in the area with Salou being the largest. It is home to one of the largest theme parks in Europe PortAventura.

Southern Costas

The ever-popular Costa Blanca or “White Coast” lies on the south eastern coastline of mainland Spain with its white sandy beaches it is a haven for sun lovers with mild winters and hot summers.

Perhaps the most famous of all is the Costa del Sol the “Sun Coast” stretching from Nerja in the east to Estepona in the west. This area is popular for its beach resorts and nightlife.

Mallorca  the largest of the Balearic’s is best known for its fantastic beaches, hidden coves and calm waters. Head into the mountains and enjoy verdant green scenery.

Ibiza  is one of the top locations for vibrant nightlife in Spain this can be found in the main resort of San Antonio, in contrast the northern towns offer peace and tranquillity.
